Look Awake!
I bet you were wondering if you were ever going to see me again!
In mom life, some days you’re busy, and some days you’re just trying to get through without losing a kid. My current state is all 4 kids are still accounted for, but I also wouldn’t swear on that.
My saving grace has been a 7 year old who is reasonably good at taking care of a baby AND a few fake-awake products that help me at least look like a functioning human being. Since I’m not loaning out the kid (can be swayed), here are my favorite affordable go-to products I love to brighten up!
Retinol Correxion Line Smooting Eye Cream
I dab this on morning and night for a noticeable difference to darkness and tired lines.
All About Eyes Serum
The cool roller ball application massages the under eyes to relax the puffy effect. Looks great, feels better.
Grace & Stella Eye Patches
Eye patches are not part of my every day routine, as I am often in a rush. But they are a critical part of my oh-my-goodness-I-look-like-I-went-on-a-bender routine. And regardless if it was a bender or a child, the difference is noteworthy!
Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer
Thick, effective, and stays put. I use a touch of it on my lids as well as under eyes for a complete brightening effect. A little goes a long way with this mighty tube- it lasts forever!
Under Eye Corrector
I love this corrector completely, but especially for on-the-go. Easy application and blends well with natural skin tones, so it doesn’t look out of place if the rest of my face isn’t made up.
Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara
I spent so many years with mascara induced raccoon eyes before this game changer came my way. Developed with tubing technology, this mascara stays where it is supposed to and doesn’t add to under eye darkness!
Brilliant Eye Brightener
This brightener makes an eye popping difference with discretion. The most subtle shimmer brings out the sparkle in your eyes and combats red rims.
Lubricant Eye Drops
You can apply all the make-up you want- if your eyes are totally bloodshot, you’re going to look tired. Not all eye drops are created equal- some are made for sneaky teens, and some are made for effective relief. Spend just a bit more and get the good stuff.
