Fashionable Fall: 10 Knit Dress Finds Under $150

Upon moving to Chicago, I jumped on the city’s pride bandwagon hard. What’s not to love about Chicago? Fantastic food, a wealth of activities for all ages and stages- and boy, if this city doesn’t know how to have a good time. But, there is one teensy problem for a fashion loving mom like myself…

Chicago weather is truly, actually, not a joke. It is cold! For a lot of the year. A lot.

But okay, we can work with that. I can get behind a good snow day. Hot cocoa, old houses heating with rickety furnaces. The kids building a snowman as mom drinks her mulled wine and dad a hearty stout. Cold weather fashion though? Not as much my jam. Chicagoan or not, many of us can relate to the conundrum of staying stylish in the winter.

Truth is, I’m a dress girl through and through. Pick one thing to wear, throw on some accessories if you have time, and you look like you tried more than the average person- even if you didn’t. As a mom, I am getting everyone else ready first and have limited time to review my own closet. Easy is the name of the game, and dresses offer that.
